Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant professional reporting to the Accounting Manager. This role is based in Stamford and will have a hybrid schedule. We are looking for a strong talented individual to join the accounting team as part of the broader Finance organization at BlueTriton Brands.

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Continually develop, expand and improve month-end close and financial reporting procedures and help drive the reduction of the close timeline by assessing and streamlining close-related activities
• Perform monthly P&L analysis and KPI reporting and investigate reporting discrepancies/anomalies and communicate issues as they arise in a timely manner
• Review existing processes, structures, and systems to assist in the identification of improvement opportunities with a focus on simplification, standardization, and optimization, especially the reduction of manual, Excel-based activities
• Provide accounting support for the RMS database and support ReadyRefresh finance with reporting and analytics
• Prepare monthly Asset Based Lending analysis on ReadyRefresh’s Accounts Receivable
• Liaison with business partners on accounting questions; perform research and provide proper recommendations
• Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and associated analysis
• Assist in other accounting responsibilities including participation and management of special projects, ERP enhancements, internal controls, and ad hoc analyses as requested.

Key qualifications for this position include:

• Must have BA/BS in Accounting; MBA is a plus
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum of 4 years of General Financial, Accounting (GAAP) and Business principles experience
• CPG experience preferred
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of cross functional business partners
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; inherent professional curiosity, ability to act independently and make recommendations and/or decisions
• Ability to prioritize and manage changing responsibilities while adhering to deadlines
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint; SAP experience is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
