SUMMARY
Simplot Grower Solutions is looking to fill a seasonal Truck Driver/Operations Support position. Full-time, temporary, position with full benefits and the opportunity for substantial over-time hours. The primary responsibility is to operate trucks, deliver fertilizer and chemicals and assist with plant operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate fertilizer truck, fill application equipment, and support plant operations as needed.
May assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse/inventory responsibilities.
Maintain and keep trucks clean.
Performs varied responsibilities such as: equipment and plant maintenance including welding, pump and engine overhauls, painting, and general housekeeping responsibilities;
Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers
Miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects, attending training sessions, providing back-up when needed, etc.

EXPERIENCE
Truck driving experience preferred
Knowledge of local rural geography is a plus
Knowledge of farm operations is a plus
REQUIREMENTS
Must hold and maintain a Class A or B CDL and appropriate driving record
HazMat Endorsement preferred
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Ag-Industry Hours - Must be willing to work overtime and weekends to meet seasonal demands.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job
