Seasonal Lifeguard
Windsor Recreation and Leisure Services seeks seasonal full-time summer lifeguards.
Lifeguards ensure the safety of our guest while providing courteous, friendly and professional assistance. The Lifeguard will provide aquatic instruction in classes and programs based upon the guidelines and standard operating procedures set by the American Red Cross during swim lessons. Performing duties may include possible phone usage (talking/listening), greeting participants, verbal class instruction and equipment/pool setup.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Lifeguard certification/WSI preferred
- Previous aquatics program teaching experience
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain
Availability & Salary:
- Must be able to work May through September (Labor Day)
- Salary is $14.50-$16.50 per hour, depending on experience
Successful candidates will be subject to the Town of Windsor background screening process, which includes a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen including testing for marijuana.
