The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for a 1.0 Predictable Term Substitute for the 2023-2024 School Year. This individual will be assigned as a .50 Classroom Science Teacher at Park Forest Middle School and a .50 Virtual Science 7-12 teacher.The ability to establish relationships with students and collaborate with colleagues is critical to success in this position. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and recognize equity and inclusivity as the foundations to prepare each student for lifelong success, our mission.
The District seeks dynamic, energetic educators who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of science learners. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and also possess a variety of professional experiences.
