TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract Licensed Clinical School Social Worker (preference) or Licensed School Social Worker for the 2022-2023 school year. Lots of open dialogue and a very collaborative group. Many of the teachers grew up in this school district and have worked here for years. Located in the Pocono mountains in PA. There are lots to do – whitewater rafting, biking, hiking, multiple ski resorts and a water park. 90 minutes to Philly, 2 hours to NYC, close to the Delaware river. The New Jersey beaches are close as well. There is something for everyone. There are several cute shopping areas as well as an outlet mall. This area offers many universities if this person is interested in taking remote courses.

• Caseload Description: Unsure of the caseload as it frequently changes – there are 4600 students today in the 4 schools

The minimum qualifications for a School Social Worker:

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a School Social Worker within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid Social Worker credential/license or in process in state of practice
