Position Summary
The School-based BHP Program at Woodfords is actively searching for more BHPs to join their growing team of professionals who are committed to the support and inclusion of children and teens with special needs and their families. As a School-based BHP, you will work one-on-one with a child or adolescent within the public school setting to help achieve learning and development objectives. Individual goals are assessed and related to the learner's behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, and community inclusion. Through the use of evidence-based practices, you will help foster a therapeutic, enriched, and meaningful learning environment for students with developmental, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders.
Current openings - 2 Full-time BHPs to support 2 Male Teenagers in the Publics School Setting.
Highlights:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday (No Weekends!)
- $1500 Sign-on Bonus!
- BCBA Supervision hours for individuals completing coursework
- Employer-paid school vacation week in December (in addition to accrued vacation time!)
- Flexible Spring & Summer Vacation schedules (position follows public school calendar)
Not currently certified as a School-Based BHP? We'll train the right candidates!
If you're a Maine resident and have a minimum of 60 college credits, a valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and current proof of auto insurance, you are eligible to provide school-based supports. Woodfords will cover the trainings at NO cost to the employee!

Qualifications
- Minimum of 60 college credits required, 90 credits strongly preferred. Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, education, or related field preferred.
- BHP certification (course can be completed as part of employment and paid for by Woodfords)
- Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle
Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly, commensurate with education and experience.
