MG Security Services is seeking a Scheduling Manager to join the MG Security Scheduling & Payroll Unit for our multi-faceted security services company. MG Security Services is a company that is growing responsibly and has incredible advancement opportunities for the right individual. The Scheduling Manager will be part of a team of professionals who are directly involved in the day-to-day preparation, oversight and management of the schedules and confirming weekly payroll for a portfolio of diverse accounts located throughout the New York City metropolitan area. The Scheduling Manager will be responsible for staffing and developing weekly schedules to ensure properly trained and qualified personnel are assigned to meet and exceed contractual obligations and client expectations. In addition to the weekly schedule, the Scheduling Manager will be responsible to proactively monitor site coverage and ensure vacancies created by requests for time off, vacation, emergencies, sick, and other unforeseeable issues are immediately addressed. Finally, the Scheduling Manager will review and confirm work schedules to ensure employees are properly compensated for time worked enabling the Finance Department to process payroll.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop and staff weekly schedules for all security and fire safety related personnel for assigned accounts.
· Enter assignments into the personnel management / scheduling database and update the database throughout the week as changes occur.
· Ensure properly trained and qualified personnel are assigned to any coverage vacancies caused by requests for time off, vacation, emergencies, sick, and other unforeseeable issues for your assigned accounts.
· Monitor the personnel management / scheduling database in real-time and identify sites where coverage has not been verified. Working with the Client Services Manager (CSM), proactively address any last-minute coverage related issues.
· Ensure MG Security personnel are properly notified of their respective work schedules and keep the CSM informed so that they may communicate weekly schedules to the client. As changes occur throughout the week, ensure updated information is communicated and the appropriate databases are updated.
· Review weekly schedules and time sheets to verify work hours and site coverage hours to confirm payroll records.
· Maintain the personnel management / scheduling database to ensure the database is up-to-date and accurately reflects the qualifications and availability of the workforce.
· Working with Human Resources, process requests for time-off from work.
· Effectively monitor personnel assigned to your accounts with an emphasis on accountability, dependability, and reliability. Ensure issues that arise are brought to the attention of the CSM and senior management to ensure an appropriate response is taken.
· Working with the CSM, identify personnel needs of your accounts and ensure an adequate personnel resource pool is maintained to meet the changing needs of your accounts and the company.

· Knowledge of Contract Security Services and Fire and Life Safety Services is preferred
The Scheduling Manager is a full-time position with corporate offices located in the area of Penn Station, NY. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and competitive with industry standards.
