Job description
Ongoing full-time Project Opportunity for Scheduling Engineer with Civil and/or Structural experience. Including:
- A minimum of 5 years scheduling experience preferably dealing with Facilities, Public Infrastructure or Water related projects.
- Working knowledge of Primavera and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software.
- Basic knowledge of the wastewater treatment environment and the nature of design related thereto.
- Ability to produce a detailed, integrated, design and construction schedules from a summary engineering schedule and a set of plans and specifications with minimal input from the designer and none from a contractor.
- Experience with detailed review of contractor’s baseline CPM schedules.
- Ability to monitor job progress and review contractor’s schedule updates.
- Ability to anticipate problems and develop solutions to overcome problems.
- Experience negotiating change order time extensions with the contractor.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
