Shift: Monday – Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm, no nights, weekends, or holidays
Status: Full time

We are looking for a customer focused and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our Mercy LIFE Sharon Hill team.
Mercy LIFE Sharon Hill is a member of Trinity Health PACE. Our facility ministers exclusively to the elderly through a coordinated care model which provides preventive, primary, acute and long-term care services designed to assist older individuals to live as independently as possible while continuing to live within their community.

What you will do:
· Coordinates and schedules external appointments for all participants
· Contacts participant/caregivers to remind them of the next day appointments.
· Works closely and communicates with the transportation department, participants, caregivers, and center staff regarding participant schedule.
· Maintains complete and accurate participant schedules, including the amount, frequency, and duration of service that has been identified in the plan of care.
· Notifies appropriate manager when requests for scheduling changes are received that require a physician's order.
· Records all scheduling changes, updates, and deletions on the schedule daily
What you will need:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.
· Minimum of one (1) year scheduling experience required.
· Medical scheduling experience strongly preferred.
· One (1) year of customer service experience serving as the first point of contact via email/phone/in person strongly preferred.
· Proficiency with Microsoft product suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.); basic
· knowledge and experience with electronic mail and calendaring system.
· Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population or if less than one (1) year of experience, must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring.
· Superior written/verbal communication skills.
· Excellent organizational, problem solving and customer service skills as well as ability to adapt to change and attention to detail.
· Position requires ability to engage in frequent kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting, sitting, walking, bending and lifting. Must be able to push, pull, move and or lift a minimum of 20 pounds if applicable.
