Job description

Join our family-owned sandwich shop at 24th St./Jefferson 1 block south of the light rail station. We are a Monday - Friday business that closes at 2pm. Typical shifts will be 4-5 days a week for about 30 hours part-time.

Our ideal candidate has recent positive work history with food, is reliable, punctual, takes pride in their work, and most importantly, enjoys making sandwiches!

Responsibilities

• Be friendly and pleasant with customers
• Make sandwiches according to the order ticket
• Ensures enough food is prepped ahead of the lunch rush
• Ring up customer orders on an iPad register
• Monitors incoming online orders
• Correctly bags takeout orders according to master ticket
• Follow health and safety regulations
• Maintain professionalism while working

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler's Card
• Excellent communication skills and multitasking abilities
• Organized and has a sense of urgency
• Understands how to use modern technology like connecting Bluetooth, WiFi, updating apps on iPad, navigating different screens to locate orders, update availability of items for online ordering, send email replies to catering customers, etc.
• Barista skills are a plus!

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour ($15 for no food experience during training period)
