Job description

WP seeks a candidate for a Samples Specialist role, reporting to the Marketing Director on the Sales and Marketing Team. The candidate must have initiative and the ability to understand/interpret direction and apply it effectively to assigned tasks. Excellent organizational skills required and a keen sense of urgency for the completion of assignments within the designated timeframe. This role will receive direction from the Marketing Director and/or the Director of Supply Chain to pack and ship out loose tile samples as ordered, pack and ship out sample boards and marketing items as needed and produce sample puck outs as ordered.

In addition to samples responsibilities, this role will also:

- Manage sample material (loose tile) inventory and request additional materials from the Warehouse as needed

- Manage the organization and upkeep of sample material on racks and in sample area

- Manage the inventory of packing material for sample shipping

- Determine ideal loose tile to use as samples for puckouts or single piece requests (to avoid sending out low quality product)

- Management of label inventory and labeling the tile samples correctly.

- Support marketing and sales team on various projects including Concept Showroom resets for customer visits, tradeshow support as necessary

- Able to use a wet saw and or a score and snap tile cutter to cut tile as needed for samples and possibly display boards. Also requires gluing to display boards.

- Must be able to pick up 70lbs. Average 12x24 carton is approximately 67lbs.

- Must be able to correctly fill out UPS information for labels.

- Communicate with Customer Service, Shipping, and other departments as necessary

Requirements:

- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines

- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach

- Most be proficient and have knowledge of MS Office, primarily Excel, and Word

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
