The Salesforce Program manager Leads the team responsible for Salesforce operations and development. As a leader, this position is responsible for recruiting qualified applicants; new Caregiver onboarding and training; overseeing team projects to develop, executing and complete assignments; organizing team roles and evaluating Caregiver performance; and will perform caregiver reviews and assessments; mentor caregivers to increase their skills and knowledge; caregiver time tracking and approvals; initiate changes that continually improve a positive team environment; conflict resolution support/intervention when appropriate; organizing and delegating assignments to team members; develop key performance goals; understanding of budget management and financial monitoring, oversee system training; etc.The position also serves as the System Administrator for the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities include all aspects of enterprise-wide user and license management (including new user setup / deactivation, password resets, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules); Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, role hierarchy, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports; Understanding and use of basic triggers / Apex code knowledge; Sandbox environment management; DevOps / release management experience; Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience; Identifying unused or underutilized platform features; Creating a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders; Creating and driving quality initiatives to improve processes and increase efficiencies; Owning the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders; Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, data cleansing, implementing rules and automation as needed; Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and SSO; Manages large and complex projects; Research & Vetting New Tools; User support tickets and troubleshooting; Provides solutions to complex issues in all areas of technologies related to systems; Extensive understanding of Dataloader for Salesforce to extract, insert, update or delete records supporting business needs; Monitor and improve user adoption; new user and ongoing user training; technical documentation; management of integrated applications and third-party suppliers; etc.
The role also serves as a consultant to leaders and stakeholders and is responsible for making recommendations for improving user experience and optimizing business processes, providing Proof of Concepts (POCs) when appropriate; engages with and consults with external vendors to develop best in class solutions; consulting with developers, BSAs. BAs, QAs, etc. to find solutions to complex problems and to ensure understanding. Collaborates with others to identify creative solutions and solve complex problems resulting from Salesforce system limitations; analytics consulting; consult with system users enterprise wide; managing and overseeing major projects; etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5+ years of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience
- Five years of health insurance experience
- Three years of management experience
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Ability to lead complex projects
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including writing, speaking and active listening
- Thorough understanding of business processes
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Demonstrates working technical knowledge of systems administration
- Demonstrated experience solving server/operating system problems that reduce impact to customers/end-users
- Business process and reengineering experience, as well as an understanding of the relationship between processes and policies
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information Systems or 5+ years equivalent technical experience in systems administration or related technical field.
