Position Summary:
This role is a trusted software/reporting expert that supports the organization’s recent transition to Salesforce. The executive team and all staff rely on this role as a technical expert as well as a friendly, approachable helper.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Compliance Manager, the Salesforce & Data Compliance Specialist is a member of the Operations Department with a focus on supporting our compliance efforts. This person is the Salesforce Administrator performing all salesforce maintenance and solutions; is the point of contact between staff and our outside Salesforce Implementation & Integration Partners; provides group and one-on-one training and support to staff; is responsible for efficient, timely and accurate reporting setup and data exports; troubleshoots issues; and will be relied on to create and maintain the efficiency of all Salesforce-related systems and operations.
Full Job Responsibilities:
- Compliance reporting setup & troubleshooting: Use Salesforce and integrated apps to create and run reports on client data for funders and stakeholders
- Validate and deduplicate data
- Data visualization: set up, present and maintain accurate reporting dashboards for executive and program director staff.
- Learn and understand what we do, how departments work, and how staff utilize salesforce in order to help troubleshoot, resolve, train, or improve apps and solutions already in place.
- Recognize and resolve data errors, inaccurate filters, or data gathering roadblocks that affect the ability to run accurate reports.
- Support the recent and ongoing issues related to recent migration from 7 databases into the Salesforce system. This includes the hard skills of project management and Salesforce expertise, as well as the soft skills of communicating, preparing, and providing tech support for staff on the changes that affect their day-to-day processes and software comfort.
- Perform typical Salesforce Admin duties.
- Use emotional intelligence to communicate with staff in an approachable, respectful way

Minimum Qualifications
- BA/A.A. or Equivalent Professional Experience of 3 years
- 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Power User or Admin
- 1+ years of experience setting up and validating complex data reports

- Experience with Salesforce NPSP and Formstack, Apsona, AdobeSign, or similar Salesforce integrated apps
- Willingness to gain a basic understanding of what we do (loans, coaching/classes, fundraising) and who we serve in order to support the back-end systems
- Excel at noticing and solving problems that require multiple steps and procedural updates
Schedule & Location:
- 40 hours per week, 8:30am-5pm
- Option to work remotely for those residing anywhere in Washington, Oregon, Idaho or Alaska.
- In-person workplaces are available in Tukwila WA, Tacoma WA, Beaverton OR and Anchorage AK.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,931.00 - $66,771.00 per year
