Salesforce Administrator Student Support
ASU Enterprise Partners is an efficient network of highly skilled teams; it is comprised of a full complement of professional services that work in concert with specialized business units to provide full resources and extend Arizona State University’s ability to achieve its charter.
The Salesforce Administrator Student Support works in the Technology and Solutions department and is responsible for working with the Solution teams with day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and enhancement of the Salesforce environment. This individual is an internally motivated, analytical thinker who possesses a positive attitude. This position reports to the Senior Director of Solutions Development.
The position will require approximately 20 hours per week, with additional availability during the non-school year.

What you’ll do:
  • Supports ASUEP’s internal Salesforce environment by performing regular Salesforce administrative functions such as managing users, updating page layouts, creating flows, developing custom objects, etc.
  • Handles Salesforce Support cases when necessary
  • Works closely with other Salesforce experts to perform configuration tasks, complete regular system audits, and prepare for upgrades to both the Salesforce platform and installed packages
  • Assists in the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
  • Provides candid, transparent and effective communication to empower customers and enable success
  • Assists with User Acceptance Testing, including creating Test Scripts and Training Manuals
  • Documents requirements in the form of use cases, business requirement documents and user stories
  • Supports development and other technical teams to enable sound solution design directly related to customer requirements, business processes, and Salesforce platform capabilities & best practices
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
What you'll need:
  • Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce and its administration functions
  • Understanding of business analysis methodologies related to gathering and documenting requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate relevant subject matter to both business and technical teams
  • Highly detail oriented, well organized, able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and complete assigned duties successfully
  • Ability to establish, document, and maintain procedures and processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative style, combined with the ability and desire to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability and desire to work in a team-based environment, while capable of completing tasks independently
  • Capable of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and responsibility regarding information related to Enterprise Partners, its subsidiaries, and university business
Relevant qualifications:
  • A current undergraduate or graduate student at Arizona State University pursuing a degree in Computer Information System or a related field with a willingness to learn and ability to work well with others. The student must be willing to sign and abide by a confidentiality agreement.
