Requisition Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the Peterbilt Sales Team by managing several strategic projects, and will serve as the main point of contact for vendors, dealers and various teams within Peterbilt as needed. These projects will include the new truck Driveaway program, delivery logistics for Electric Vehicles between production, Body Upfitters and final delivery, tracking and reporting of Peterbilt Dealer Network electric vehicle sales and service readiness, supplier driven component conversions and trade package tracking and reporting.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to:

  • Manage the Driveaway program to achieve results driven performance for new truck deliveries
  • Establish and communicate performance goals to Driveaway providers and manage them to the desired metrics
  • Manage logistics between Peterbilt production and body upfitters to drive completion and delivery efficiencies for electric vehicles
  • Attain delivery targets for existing portfolio of products with special focus on strategic product segments and major accounts
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure requirements for Peterbilt truck sales and deliveries are met
  • Work with the Peterbilt Sales, Dealer Development and Field Service teams to track and report Dealer Electric Vehicle sales and service readiness across the dealer network
  • Manage, track and report supply constrained product allocations and conversion needs
  • Track, report and provide administrative support for in-process trade packages and trade package requests
  • Other tasks as assigned to support the Peterbilt Sales and Used Truck teams

Skills / Competencies

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required. An MBA is preferred
  • Candidates must possess a positive attitude, be proactive and a self-starter.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet objectives that support division sales and metric driven goals while maintaining exceptional customer service
  • Data visualization skills are preferred
  • Command of PowerPoint, Tableau and Microsoft office applications

    Other desired skills include:

  • Strong analysis, communication, negotiation and project management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to drive results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
