As a Virtual Pharmacy Sales Specialist in our US Hospital Products division you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our disposables, premix and nutritional products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs. You enjoy being on location, building relationships, and establishing trust with the doctors and nurses who use Baxter solutions every day.

In the Virtual Sales position you will manage, grow and expand business within a specified territory, supporting our Pharmacy product portfolio within the hospital space. These products help in improving clinical outcomes to better inform and guide clinical treatment decisions. You will be responsible for the sales of Baxter's proprietary technology for noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring and continuous renal replacement therapy plus the related accessories to multiple hospital call points and end-users.

Location to work: Can work remotely throughout the U.S.

What you'll be doing:

  • Driving all new business sales activities in designated accounts in an assigned Territory with a primary focus on the Hospital Pharmacy department
  • Successful execution of geographic sales plan for sustained growth and enhanced market penetration
  • Managing all aspects of the sales process, including identifying and developing clinician champions, completing product evaluations, generating area sales analysis and forecasting, developing your sales funnel through preparation, negotiation and finalization of deals, and execution of all PO commitments
  • Assisting with all aspects of the Company product and sales planning processes, marketing activities, sales tools, and business strategies
  • Soliciting, developing, and maintaining successful relationships with key healthcare opinion leaders in assigned sales geography
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3+ years’ experience or 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Preferred track record of success in meeting both customer needs, and corporate sale objectives; preferred clinical or science background
  • Must be highly motivated, energetic, and resourceful
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to balance team/individual responsibilities and contribute to building a positive team culture
  • Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Travel:

  • 15% travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $52,800 to $132,000 plus a commission target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
