Insurance Sales Representative job - Smith Insurance Group – Lakewood
We are searching for a driven and gregarious individual to join our sales team. As an insurance sales representative, you will be responsible for assisting Colorado residents to find the proper forms of insurance. You will use your knowledge of Allstate products to help individuals find the coverage that fits their needs best. While working with this fast-paced agency, mentorship and performance feedback will be given to help you achieve your career goals.
The Insurance Sales Representative Development Program is a tiered, outcome-based program that gives representatives control over their career. By reaching minimum sales goals, focusing on training and development, and establishing a professional approach to your career, a sales professional can establish their work environment, tasks, and compensation.
Insurance Sales Representative Benefits:

Insurance Sales Representative Requirements & Responsibilities:
- A track record of success in consultative, solutions-oriented sales OR experience in the insurance industry. 1-2 years sales experience is preferred but not required
- The ability to conduct needs-based selling, including prospecting, building and managing a pipeline, conducting needs analysis, developing solutions and writing proposals, presenting proposals, and closing deals
- The ability to increase sales in a competitive marketplace
- Other duties as assigned

- Strong self-motivation, goal-orientation, and high-energy
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients through referrals, cold calling, networking
- Maintain a detailed list of audits, renewal expiration lists, and binders
- A team-player approach
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- P & C and Life & Health insurance license is preferred

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
