Mahaska is looking for smeone energetic, self-motivated and hard-working to join our team as a Sales Representative. As a Sales Representative you will service assinged retails customers and achieve monthly sales volume, distribution and other goals. The Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to;
- Understand and promote the company's marketing strategies for all product packages and caterogries. Promote products in accounts in line with these strategies.
- Soliciit promotions, tie to pricing, ads and displays.
- Develop professional relationships with key people at store level.
- Familiarize yourself with all products including; advertising programs, product attributes, pricing, categy, retail price points, competitive brands within the category.
- Ensure out-of-date and damaged product is immediately returned to the warehouse.
- Ensure all retailer complaints are resolved. This includes investigating and resolving all complaints in assigned accounts and working closely with the Delivery Representative regarding recurring situations.
- Service current accounts, ability to sell in displays, merchandise, and over time be able to upsell and add in new products into accounts.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must have a good driving record and reliable transportation to get to and from work.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Experience within the coffee industry preferred.
