NO COLD CALLING!


POSITION SUMMARY


At Granite Garage Floors, we would be nothing without our successful sales team. Our expertise is upgrading garage floors with an industrial coating system that Looks and Lasts Like Granite™. Gone are the days of drab, unsealed concrete, or gray-painted garage floors!


We are seeking a qualified, self-motivated, energetic individual who has a complete understanding of the sales process, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our offering in a compelling way. You will be assigned leads directly from our targeted lead generation software to follow up, engage, educate and close.


This is a 100% commissioned role located in the greater Northern Metro Atlanta, Georgia area; with the potential for increased responsibility based on contributed individual results and company growth.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Making in-home sales calls (No Cold Calling).
  • Developing productive business partnerships with local builders, architects, and adjacent category businesses.
  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge, make effective qualifying sales calls, and successfully manage the sales cycle.
  • Participate in company efforts to create brand and category awareness at a variety of events.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS


  • Self-motivated and energetic
  • Strong Communication Skills- both verbal and written
  • Outgoing Personality- individuals must have the ability to build relationships with targeted audiences on the phone or in person and close sales.
  • Professional appearance, detail oriented, and commitment to excellence
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be coachable with excellent work ethic
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or Relevant Work Experience or Industry Experience is a plus
  • Must live in the Northern Metro Atlanta, Georgia area with local references.

We opened our first location in South Florida in 2009, followed by Atlanta in 2010. We have since continued to expand our business each year into additional locations throughout the country. All of our owners have a long history within the concrete, coatings, construction, and home improvement industry, including working for many years for the Rust-Oleum Corporation, a leader in industrial floor coatings & installation. After nearly a quarter-century of working in Corporate America, we decided the timing was right to utilize our experience & know-how to launch Granite Garage Floors. Our goal remains the same today as it was in 2009 - to offer quality industrial-grade garage flooring options to the residential and commercial market along with unmatched dedication & commitment to customer service, which has proved to be essential to our success as independent business owners. In May 2022 we were acquired by Threshold Brands, a portfolio company under the Private Equity Firm, The Riverside Company. We believe this partnership will provide opportunity for us to continue with our vision to grow Granite Garage Floors while maintaining all the values we started out business with!
