Job description
This position is a hybrid one, with flexibility to work from home twice a week. Job duties for the position include:
- Promptly and accurately responds to prospective or existing customer information requests. Monitors/follows up on sales activities throughout the process to meet or exceed customer requirements from initial contact to order fulfillment.
- Manage all client communications and conflict resolution for assigned accounts.
- Effectively develops and manages trusted relationships for assigned customers/accounts.
- Effectively communicates with customers regarding current product information and provides accurate and detailed pricing, quotes, and input on products and final solutions
- Delivers solutions or finds new opportunities for a positive customer experience utilizing independent judgment and sales methodology.
- Consistently delivers revenue or profit that supports and drives the account/customer to meet financial sales metrics.
- Working in a team environment, proactively coordinates sales efforts and strategies with internal resources such as Quality, Purchasing and Operations.
- Developing and maintain an excellent knowledge and understanding of our business offerings, competitors, and industry.
- Maintains an effective follow up process to ensure that opportunities are properly captured.
- Other duties as assigned.
A minimum of 5 years experience in the aerospace industry preferably with military platforms
Communication: Excellent both verbal and written communication skills with the English Language.
Computer Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word. Knowledge of Quantum ERP is a plus.
Mathematical Skills: Commensurate with High School Math.
Reasoning Abilities: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, strict attention to details and ability to multitask and prioritize as necessary, with minimal supervisory direction. Must be flexible in handling multiple tasks. Understanding the need for urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to work in a team environment and independently
