Director of Sales

Close the Loop (CtL) is looking for an energetic and motivated Director of Sales for its North America Headquarters located in Hebron, KY. This is an office position. The Director of Sales will lead our U.S. Sales team in managing our current clients and expand our global customers as the premier sustainability solutions provider. We specialize in managing our clients environmental take-back programs and the recycling or reuse of their material in a safe and effective method. The Director of Sales will use his/her skills to drive sales revenue, strategically develop the company and continued growth, and solve unique challenges and change the world.

Position Summary:

The Director of Sales will review current sales activities and develop a US Sales Strategy. This strategy will look at current offerings and develop core strategies to target key sales opportunities. The Director of Sales will implement a plan for developing and managing a best-practices sales team leveraging take back programs as a key sales strategy. He/she will author and implement channel distribution strategies to increase sales effectiveness worldwide and be an active contributor to the global sales team and their effectiveness. He/she will gain credibility as a leader among his/her regional team, with peers across the organization, and with key stakeholders.

Director of Sales Job Duties: (Actual duties and responsibilities may vary because of corporate directives, departmental objectives, and special projects, in addition to the duties outlined below.)

Business Development:

  • Networking and relationship building with existing clients and new prospects to identify potential business leads
  • Direct the sales execution in the USA to achieve sales targets in accordance with approved business plans
  • Explore new markets and growth opportunities within the USA for both existing and new services,
  • Create new business proposals
  • Modeling of new business both economically and procedurally; collaborate with Operations to determine feasibility of meeting customers needs
  • Through advanced data analysis and knowledge of CtLs operations and process, collaborate with Director of Operations to create a customized solution to meet customers needs
  • Coordination of interdepartmental resources
  • Support account managers and new business leads and opportunities
  • Engage with OEMs to introduce them to CtL and to sign them to a collection program
  • Identify opportunities to expand Close the Loop?s service offerings within existing partner relationships
  • Travel to customers and prospects (up to 25%), including internationally as needed
  • Create and present sales presentations to existing customers and prospects
  • Service as support for sales and account management team to resolve any pre-sale or post-sale customer issues
  • Develop service offerings and pricing structures in collaboration with Finance, Operations, and IT
  • Report monthly on sales and business development performance to the CEO and Board
  • Participate in global sales activity when required as part of a global sales team.
  • Establish strategic alliances/partnerships that allow the company to execute its business plans in new markets and/or new products.
  • Actively participate in industry groups to ensure that company interests are being represented
  • Lead and implement the strategy for enhancing the customer experience, including customer satisfaction surveys and social media.
  • Attend, and where appropriate, present at appropriate industry-related conferences to increase the profile and standing of CtL.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in marketing, business administration or a relevant field

A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar executive management role

In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices
