Position Introduction:

Role Accountabilities:

Business Development Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrate Katch Kan values of being reliable, responsible, responsive, and respectful to achieve results.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, sales plans, and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services in your area.
  • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to achieve goal setting, performance management, and annual operating plans.
  • Develop quarterly marketing plans and the strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to achieve goals.
  • Develop and execute a business plan for your area and achieve or exceed the planned P&L results as presented.
  • Think strategically - see the bigger picture and set aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
  • Explore and develop new business opportunities for Katch Kan expertise and equipment potential within and outside of oil and gas.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, risk, and financials.
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations.
  • Identify and map business strengths and customer needs.
  • Research business opportunities and viable income streams.
  • Research trends and create new opportunities to increase sales.
  • Build strong relationships with industry professionals, competitors, vendors, and other personnel.
  • Attend sales training when/as required.
  • Analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of services and products.
  • Maintain consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.

Sales & Marketing Accountabilities:

  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations and other sales actions.
  • Support marketing efforts in tradeshows, exhibits, events and marketing material.
  • Develop and communicate brand identity and corporate position.
  • Initiate sales connections to create new business, sales conversions continued market expansion with respect to new products and customers.
  • Work to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate market research and adjust sales and marketing strategy to meet changing marketing and competitive conditions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners in your area.
  • Meet with key clients, maintain relationships, negotiate and close deals.
  • Be fully trained on all Katch Kan products to be able sell (and upsell) all products to customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any customer questions and concerns.
  • Demonstrate a high competency in all Katch Kan products and solutions.

Financial Accountabilities:

  • Sales deals are negotiated and closed.
  • Upsell at every opportunity.
  • Work with finance and the leadership team to maintain accurate and current financial health as it relates to sales.
  • CRM data is efficiently maintained and updated.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in sales and/or business development as well as experience in the oil and gas industry with extensive knowledge
  • Strong network of contacts and established relationships with middle east oil and gas producers and service companies,
  • Experience finding and creating business relationships with new customers as well as maintaining key client relationships
  • Familiar with rental agreement strategies and revenue building techniques
  • Working with teams to improve knowledge of market, competitive information, customer relationships and marketing and sales strategy
  • Strong professional communication, leadership and presentation skills including written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision

  • Must have reliable transportation
