Nelson Marine - Sales Associate

Nelson Marine is a family owned company in White Bear Lake, MN that has been in business since 1933. The boat lines we carry have a reputation for quality, and the demand stays strong throughout the boating season and beyond. We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Sales Associate to join our team and to help our customers navigate through the buying process.

Duties Include:

Greeting customers and helping them find the boat or pontoon that will fit their needs. Add value with knowledge of current fishing electronics offered and custom rigging for fishing boats. Answer phone calls and internet inquiries on products and develop strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers. Assist in post sales support when needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic Marine knowledge
• Strong work ethic

No sales experience required, but preferred.

Compensation is base hourly plus commission with high earning potential for the right individual. Must be US citizens or eligible to work in the US, possess a valid driver’s license, and pass a pre-employment background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
