Job Title: Sales Associate
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Position Summary
Jess Smith is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Trade Team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the trade team with daily duties, including preparing and processing various documents, perform data entry and analysis, and maintaining compliance with various programs.
Position Responsibilities
The function of the position will include but not limited to learning the basics of trading cotton, the creation of purchase and sale contracts, and working with the trade team to coordinate purchase/sale information to the other departments. Candidate will also follow up and track sales and assist other departments to insure the completion of a sale. Candidate will also learn how to communicate with our growers and our overseas agents.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to travel frequently
- Valid Driver’s License and clear DMV record
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Communications Skills
- Self-motivated
- Attention to detail
