Position: Sales and Marketing Coordinator

OVERVIEW:
To competently* and professionally* work with sales and promotions to create and execute client sales promotions that will drive new business and incremental money for the Charlotte cluster. In addition to be a supporting role to sales as it relates to administrative responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the sales team in the creation of client marketing presentations and recaps.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva
- Graphic design experience
- Attend weekly sales and promotions meetings.
- Prepare, maintain, and revise sales presentations and research as needed for the sales organization.
- Provide exceptional customer service for new and existing clients on behalf of the sales team.
- Assist sales team with client research and scheduling needs in Nielsen.
- Input and process client orders, production, and billing need with diligent attention to detail as needed.
- Front desk responsibilities on a fill-in basis
- Maintain political files in accordance with company and FCC guidelines
- Assist marketing director with promotional requests, ticket giveaways, v-creative, etc.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
- Attend all relevant skill-building workshops as requested.
- To stay current with all relevant industry information as it applies to the overall job responsibility.
- To drive your own Performance Appraisal every twelve months.

- Ability to video social media events, primarily at the station.
- Understand the benefits of multi-platform marketing.
- Willingness to learn Industry specific software (Nielsen, Wide Orbit, Media Monitors Sharebuilders, Veritone, V-Creative etc.)
- Adapts easily to changing landscape with new and revised responsibilities based on need.
- Working knowledge of digital and social media platforms.
- Passion and enthusiasm for playing a supporting role and contributing to the overall team's success.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under strict deadline demands.
- Clear and concise communication skills (verbal and written.)
- Motivated, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.
- Ability to resolve issues as they arise, and problem-solve.
- Overall professionalism, good judgment, and accountability.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum three years of experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Canva, Excel, and Outlook.
- College Degree in Advertising/ Marketing or a related field preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
