Position Summary:

Responsible for supporting and maintaining safety standards by promoting safety awareness through all levels of the distribution center. Help to reduce the risk of occupational illness, industrial injury, and property damage. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions:

• Supervises facility wide safety programs. Promote safety awareness through recognition, incentive and training programs.
• Educate all associates on the importance of accountability to create and maintain a safe work environment.
• Responsible for overseeing the Safety programs, incident investigation, safety meetings and all other safety initiatives.
• Lead and conduct incident investigations. Determine the root cause of all incidents and follow up on all necessary actions as a result of the investigation.
• Ensure compliance with all corporate safety programs.
• Identify and eliminate potential work hazards in order to achieve an incident free workplace.
• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Strong coaching and motivation skills
• Detailed operational knowledge of all warehouse operations
• Comprehensive experience with OSHA regulations
