JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing western saddles for the Hamley’s store, including saddle accessories and tack. Shall also provide saddle repair services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide Hamley’s Saddles and leather goods that meets the quality standards and traditions of the Hamley’s brand.
- Work to maintain a par level supply of western saddles and leather goods, including, breast collars, front and rear saddle cinches and bridles.
- Stamps all products made with the Hamley’s brand. Saddle Shop
- Promotes efficient, cost effective use of leather supplies and goods.
- Responsible for producing western saddles as identified by business schedule or retail needs.
- Shall provide saddle repair services for Hamley’s customers.
- Promotes a clean, safe, healthy work environment by using all equipment, tools and materials in a safe manner.
- Keeps Supervisor apprised of supply and equipment needs.
- Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
- Promptly reports all concerns to supervisor.
- Will assist with inventory control, following established procedures and assisting with quarterly inventory as assigned.
- Provide guidance and support of leather workers and/or apprentices.
- Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
