As a Room Attendant/Housekeeper, your primary responsibility is to impress each guest with a clean and welcoming guestroom presentation. Attention to detail and cleanliness is key to making this happen. Small details will provide an overall huge impact in the guest experience. Your role is essential to our business and will be the crucial factor to secure guest loyalty. Going above & beyond is what is going to set us apart from our competitors. Room Attendant/Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Cleaning/sanitizing and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring and working/public areas at all times.
• Report maintenance problems
• Working quickly without compromising quality/diligence.
• Keeping room facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning/sanitizing and stocking restrooms.
• Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notifying managers of necessary repairs/issues.
• Collecting and disposing of trash.
• Assisting guests when necessary.
• High Attention to Detail.
• Restocking all necessary room toiletries.
• Time management and efficiency in tasks.
• Deliver items to guest rooms, as requested.
• Help other departments, as needed.
• Responsible care of equipment and machines.
• Support team to reach common goals.

Skills:

• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to the hotel demands
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Physical mobility and stamina.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Professional and polite.
• Ability to lift at least 25lbs.
• Ability to cross-train for another position if needed.
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests.
