About Us

We are a Boutique Hotel, located on the Rock River in beautiful Rockford Illinois. Even though our hotel was built in 1993 it still has a rich history and has beautiful work-work and Antiques throughout. A gorgeous view of the Rock River and the largest event space in Rockford!

Your day to day: We take our housekeeping standards seriously. So, we're searching for a Room Attendant with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for perfection to make sure every guest enjoys a truly memorable experience.

Have a set number of rooms to clean during a shift . Removes dirty towels and sheets and replaces them with clean ones from the Linen Closet. Cleans, dusts, and sanitizes all areas of the Guest Room (bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom) according to procedure.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Clean guest rooms; remaking beds, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms including showers, bath tub , toilets, sinks; vacuuming carpets, sweeping floors. Also includes Deep Cleaning of rooms when needed.
• Makes bed, vacuums carpet and cleans marble and tile areas .
• Removes Rooms Service dishes to Linen Closet.
• Restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pens.
• Make sure every single room is at its absolute best for our guests
• Helping our guests in any way you can - whether they've forgotten their toothbrush or just need to find the elevator
• Keeping your supervisor in the loop by advising them of any progress or problems
• Monitoring and controlling supplies to minimize waste
• Doing your best to reunite guests with any lost or misplaced items

Regularly assisting with deep clean projects

What we need from you: It's a physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects
You may need to bend and kneel to complete some activities
Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic maths skills
Flexible attitude to shifts - you may be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
