A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WEIGHTROOM ATTENDANT

As an attendant, you are responsible for ensuring that patrons are in a clean and safe environment. You supervise the conduct of patrons and strictly enforce all rules, regulations, policies, and ordinances that govern our facility. When accidents occur, you are quick to respond in order to provide CPR, first aid, and other assistance that is necessary.

In addition, anytime you notice unsafe conditions, you make sure to report it to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. You also attend all staff meetings and in-service training sessions. When other attendants or staff members need help, you are happy to assist them with any tasks that are required. Having a job where you get to help people every day brings you great satisfaction, which is why you thrive in this position!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WEIGHTROOM ATTENDANT

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to work early mornings, mid-days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to meet the physical activity requirements, including pushing and pulling items as well as lifting medium weights
