We need a dynamic Construction Manager to join our ever-growing team.

OBJECTIVE/MISSION: We seek someone who can manage field activities in all quality, safety, and production phases. Maintain a safe, OSHA-compliant work site. Effectively manage all labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors on each project. You will be charged with meeting all quality, safety, and productivity objectives, ensuring our jobs get completed to our high standard on or under budget, and (most importantly) that all our team members get home safely every day.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Staff and Safety Management:

• Manage subcontractor’s labor, materials, and equipment on each assigned project.
• Establish daily production objectives and provide goals to crew members during dispatch.
• Dispatching of assigned crews in the morning.
• Supervise project safety and oversees subcontractor’s quality of work to Kairos Roofing standards, including supervising the completion of work (no temporary work is permitted), inspecting tie-ins and returns, maintaining correct company image on all job sites (including apparel), and enforcing housekeeping at the job site.
• Ensure all safety measures are being followed at the job sites.

Site Management:

• Conduct thorough pre-damage, city, and manufacturer inspections for all assigned projects and document all details.
• Work with the assigned Project Manager to ensure Job Progress reports are completed as required by the project.
• Responsible for onsite communication with GC’s and city inspectors and daily communication and updates with project managers and the Director of Quality Control.
• Will maintain daily inventory of materials and Kairos Roofing equipment and provide required pictures and videos of the project’s progress via Company Cam.
• Responsible for Kairos Roofing equipment maintenance and validating that the correct supplies are on hand
• Oversee crews to ensure proper usage and maintenance of company equipment.
• Enforces housekeeping at the job site.
• Accurate wood log reporting with associated pictures.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of three years experience in the construction industry.
• A minimum of one year experience in a management/supervisory role.
• A minimum of one year of experience in residential roofing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Organized, detailed, and thorough in planning and execution.
• Team/role/substitute player that will do whatever needs to be done to get the job completed.
• Possesses a high set of moral and ethical standards in business dealings.
• Able to demonstrate proficiency using software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and construction-related packages.
• Strong business, presentation, and construction math skills. Self-motivated and a self-starter with excellent driving skills.
• Ability to competently handle stressful situations, choose a successful path forward when confronted with numerous options, and able to elevate issues as necessary
