Neenah Foundry is hiring immediately for a Rolling Stock Supervisor!

The primary role of the Rolling Stock Supervisor is to improve workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through supervision and coordination of labor, and resources with equipment access. The Rolling Stock Supervisor is responsible for complete management and oversight of all rolling stock including compliance with OSHA required programs as well as the hourly workforce and the scheduling of all rolling stock and equipment repair work performed in the areas to which he/she is assigned. He/she maintains liaison and coordination between the Production Department and Maintenance/ Rolling Stock Department, while maintaining appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of work done.

Rolling Stock Supervisor Essential Functions

· Supervises and coordinates work for the hourly workforce, Mechanics, and other maintenance helpers

· Complete Management and oversight of all rolling stock including compliance with OSHA required programs, repairs replacement recommendations, damage, etc.

· Development and maintenance of a shop environment that is clean, organized and sustained.

· Proactive identification of areas of concern to develop mitigating programs, checks and or actions.

· Principle contact and liaison person between the “Jeep” Shop, which maintains all Rolling Stock, and the plant, ensuring that the production areas assigned receive prompt, efficient, and quality service from the “Jeep” Shop

· Establish priorities and sequence of work through close communication with Maintenance Department and Production Team to ensure the focus remains on meeting the needs of internal and external customers

· Evaluate data from mechanics and consults with the Manager in determining the best course of action as necessary

· Develop, Implement, and ensures ongoing adherence to a PM Program. To include the review of deficiencies noted in PM’s and issuing corrective action work orders related to identified deficiencies

· Ensure the work being completed is done safely. Ensuring that the employees adhere to all safety requirements.

· Proactively work to identify potential safety issues within the plant and department and engage appropriate support to mitigate hazards

· All other duties as directed by the Reliability Manager

Rolling Stock Supervisor Expected Areas of Competence (KSAs)

· Experience with Maintaining a fleet of rolling stock preferably in the manufacturing or commercial environment

· Proficient with computer systems particularly- Microsoft Office Operating Systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

· Experience in Preventative Maintenance procedures

· Comfortable with purchasing procedures

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to diffuse conflict

· Ability to identify and prioritize tasks, communicate urgency, time management, and have the desire to work as part of a team

· High energy with the ability to work well with others toward a common goal

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to author routine reports and correspondence

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, as well as experience in running a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System

Rolling Stock Supervisor Education and Experience Requirements

· Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to climb ladders and stairs and use a respirator.

Rolling Stock Supervisor Travel Requirements

Little to no travel is anticipated with this position
