Squire Boone Village is one of the largest wholesale souvenir suppliers to the tourist industry in the United States and winner of the prestigious U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Chip Enterprise Initiative Award. We import gems, minerals and fossils from mines all over the world and supply them to museum stores, caves, rock shops, national and state parks all across the country. We are the supplier to the Smithsonian Institute, Mammoth Cave, Sea World, See Rock City and thousands of other tourist destinations.

If you have an interest in Earth Science and rock collecting you will love being a rock department order packer. Job duties include sorting, grading and sizing gemstones, minerals and fossils and reading a work order from which to fill and pack customers’ orders.

Must be able to work standing 95% of the time to pick and pack orders and lift 35 pound boxes to fill bins and put packed orders on dollies and pallets.

Full time M-F, 6am -2:30pm

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintains knowledge of production processes and equipment.
• Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and stored correctly.
• Reading work orders and pulling inventory.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• The ability to quickly and safely learn production operations and machinery.
• Physical ability to lift 35 lb boxes.
• Physical ability to work standing for significant periods of time.
• Physical and hand dexterity to package items in various containers. Must be able to traverse the production facility.
