Job Summary

1st Choice HOSPICE CARE is looking for a AFTER HOURS/On-Call Nurse (RN) must be available from 5 PM - 8 AM and weekends. Must be able to travel to various cities within a reasonable time in case of emergency visits for our hospice patients, comes with a very ATTRACTIVE compensation. On-Call rate plus additional pay for every visit made during on-call.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• One year of minimum hospice care experience RN
• A Current California RN License
• A current BLS-CPR Certification

Skills and Abilities

• Responsible, reliable, and self-directed
• Comfortable managing pain and symptoms
• Admissions in Hospice
• Appropriate clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain courteous and cooperative (service oriented) working relations with patients, families and co-workers
• Ability to use Electronic Medical Software to record documentation. Computer literate

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
