Job description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Critical Care nurse for a prestigious hospital in Utica, NY. This position is a full time position offering highly competitive pay and benefits!



Job Function:
  • Working with doctors and specialists to assess, treat and monitor critically ill patients while also providing basic care.
  • Administering medication as needed
  • Monitoring vital signs
  • Working directly with patients before and after they complete surgical procedure
  • Inputting and maintaining patient records into EMR systems

Job Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current NY State Registered Nurse License
  • 2 years of experience in this specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
  • ACLS through the American Heart Association
  • NIHSS Certification
  • May be required to float to like units
