A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT PREP COOK

In this entry-level food service position, you are vital to the operations of our kitchen! You help make our cooking process more efficient by preparing each of the ingredients used in our dishes. You carefully clean each ingredient, ensuring that there is no dirt and throwing out anything that doesn't fit our standards for quality. Then, with safety as your highest priority, you cut and slice vegetables as well as other foods.

You prep each item according to our timeline and standards, following the specifications carefully so that we have the right amount of each ingredient. As you work, you closely follow our food safety and sanitation standards. You love working alongside our kitchen team and take pride in the part you play in our success!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESTAURANT PREP COOK

• 18+ years of age
• Food handler's permit or ability to earn one
