WHO WE ARE:

101 Central: The only historic gathering space in Whitefish, Montana that celebrates memorable experiences on every level for those who appreciate a balance of luxury and comfort. The 3-story experience consists of fine dining on the ground floor (Herb & Omni), an event space/venue (Second Story), and an open, roof top tapas lounge (Open 101).

101 Central is currently finalizing construction and will be open by early summer 2023.

Open 101 Sky Lounge The beautiful balance of gorgeous views and delicious tapas, Open 101 is the perfect space to gather before, during or after dinner. Offering lite bites and libations all while enjoying the beautiful outdoor atmosphere. The perfect 3rd place between home and work, its only fitting that it is located on the 3rd level of 101 central.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for an experienced General Manager, who is dedicated, ambitious and seeks opportunities to grow their career. At101 Central, General Managers are knowledgeable and friendly, who serve in a quick and efficient manner and is a manager with a passion to maintain their restaurant and event space by facilitating all service steps and always searching for ways to anticipate guest needs with the best hospitable intentions.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the business, including staff scheduling, training, and development
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational systems and procedures
  • Develop, implement, and monitor financial systems and procedures
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance systems and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with internal SOPS and company standards
  • Ensure that the business follows all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Keep records of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicate details to appropriate departments
  • Create and maintain a positive working environment
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Create and implement promotional activities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Monitor customer feedback and adjust operations accordingly
  • Provide leadership and direction to all staff
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints
  • Oversee the hiring and training of new staff
  • Evaluate performance and take corrective action when necessary
  • Ensure that the restaurant meets its financial goals
  • Generate and manage budgets
  • Communicate effectively with all managers and departments to ensure coordination with F&B services, guest needs, quality control, etc.
  • Assist as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences, concerts, and banquets
  • Assists in planning, leading and chaperoning of staff events
  • Wear the proper uniform and ensure team appearance and presentation standards are upheld
  • Perform other duties as requested by management

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIEINCE DO YOU NEED FOR THIS JOB:

  • The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in the work environment satisfactorily based on the physical demands of the job
  • Familiarity with hospitality POS systems expected
  • Knowledge of food, liquor, and labor cost controls expected
  • Knowledge in kitchen operations, cooking, and order timing expected
  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol with appropriate alcohol training and food handling certificates upon hire or soon after.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable suggesting ideas and solutions
  • Commitment to safety first and the highest quality and cleaning and sanitizing standards
  • Work ethic and commitment to the team and guests are key
  • Organized with a great eye for detail

 Restaurant management: 3-5 years (Preferred)

 Training & development: 3-5 year (Preferred)

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Food Manager Certification (Preferred)
  • Must be able to work full-time, swing shift, nights, weekends and holidays

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:

Pay: $105,000 to 125,000 per year DOE

Relocation Compensation: Up to $15,000 moving expenses.
