Sales and Marketing Director

Salary: $65-$75,000 Plus Commission

$90-$135,000 Total Potential

Mirbeau Hospitality Services is welcoming candidates to join our Executive Team in Rhinebeck as the Director of Sales and Marketing. This position is based in Rhinebeck but offers growth opportunity for a more regional responsibility with the Opening of the new Resort in Beacon in Summer, 2025. The Director will work closely with the General Manager and the MHS Marketing Team to continue the Sales initiative and success we have experienced over the past 3 years. Outreach in the Hudson Valley region, NYC Metro area, and Nationally are a high priority along with coordination and execution of potential clients inquiries and referrals.

The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for revenue production for the Resort and meeting or exceeding planned revenue objectives for occupancy and average daily rate (ADR). Manages all areas of sales and marketing to achieve a professional rapport within the local business community. The Sales and Marketing Manager is a hands-on Manager actively involved daily in marketing, securing and following up on leads to book specific business for the Resort.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Devise and deploy all sales objectives and goals, including sales targets and budget preparation

Develop, manage, and nurture new business partnerships and accounts to accomplish volume and profit goals

Explore and grow client account list, manage incoming leads and follow through ending sales

Seek out and direct new customers and sales opportunities, initiating action plan to advance and procure new business for the company - including membership and group sales

Assist in the planning and detailing of in-house meetings and special events

Work directly with seasoned meeting planners to plan their meetings from start to finish

Obtain final details; dates, times, meeting requirements, food and beverage details

Create banquet event orders and group resumes

Maintain a close relationship with clients before, during, and after their event

Detailing of Programming & In-house, and Signature Events

Respond to new business leads when assigned

Conduct client site tours

Work closely with food and beverage to ensure menus are developed for booked social and business events

Attend networking events

Responsible for coordinating all Marketing and promotional activities of the Resort to meet Guest needs

Schedule and Execute the Social Media Marketing for the Rhinebeck property

Generate content in line with Mirbeau's identity and aesthetic

Identify relevant social media influencers

Pitch social media marketing strategies and analyze ROI

Develop copy for scheduled emails based on the theme, needs, goals, etc.

Oversee tracking of email effectiveness and report, suggest modifications based on results for improvement

Assist in content creation and management of property collateral

Work with MHS team to update property specific collateral
