Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Shuttle Driver to join our Westchester Village team! This position is responsible for providing safe transportation for the residents of our retirement community, taking them to and from appointments and waiting for them during the appointments.

Responsibilities:

• Drive residents to and from appointments and wait for them, returning them to the Community.
• Assist residents on and off the vehicle, sometimes pushing their wheelchair as necessary
• Follow and uphold the Community philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each residents quality of care and quality of life.
• Follow and uphold policies and procedures of the Community.
• Attend and participate in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
• Observe residents rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.

Qualifications: The Resident Shuttle Driver must have a clean driving record, have or obtain a class D Driver License and be able to safely operate a 14 passenger bus with a wheelchair lift.
