Full Job Description
Residential Construction Superintendent - Production Builder New Home Construction

Palm Coast Communities has an opening for a full time salaried paid Residential Construction
Superintendent, who will be primarily responsible for ensuring the efficient production of single- family homes, upholding building quality standards, and maintaining a safe work environment. In addition, the duties include a variety of new home construction tasks including the following:

• Create and update weekly construction schedules
• Provide current stage of construction on a weekly basis and perform Quality Inspections during all stages of construction. Manage the quality of construction for all homes assigned.
• Conduct homeowner meetings to include Homeowner Orientation and Final Walk.
• Verify home is ready for release to the closing department and provide accurate dates for

Quality Control Inspection.

• Participate in weekly construction training. Support training and development of other team members. Conduct tailgate talks with sub-contractors for quality and site cleanliness.
• Maintain overall site condition. Manage field plan support with Manager.
• Provide safe sites for all subcontractors and Management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Five years or more of previous residential construction experience required.
• Florida residential construction and production home management experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of one or more of the building trades (i.e., electrical, carpentry, plumbing etc.…) combined with a strong knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Must have understanding of the technical aspects of construction
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
