Flatwater Builders is a residential construction & design firm serving Lincoln, NE and the surrounding community.

We are seeking an apprentice to assist with all phases of residential construction and remodeling, to include rough & finish carpentry, tile, insulation, siding, flooring, touch-ups, general clean-up, organization, and errands. We subcontract our roofing, gutters, drywall, concrete, licensed trade work, and others as needed.

Construction or related experience is preferred, but not a requirement for the right candidate. A positive attitude, problem-solving ability, creative thinking, reliable attendance, and an eye for detail are required. Must have valid driver's license and reasonably clean driving record. To benefit our clients, we don't allow smoking or swearing on job sites.

The vast majority of our work is within the city limits, and any out-of-town travel is compensated. Limited overtime available. Job will require bending, climbing, and lifting 50-100# regularly.

Benefits include paid vacation after 6 months, Christmas bonuses, and partnership as a 5% owner after 5 years.
