The Old Edwards Hospitality Group owns and operates three hotels, two golf courses, multiple restaurants, a world-class Spa, and sixteen unique and individual events sites, all on the Highlands Plateau. Summary

The Reservations Specialist is responsible for booking reservations for Old Edwards, 200 Main, Half-Mile Farm, Madison's, The Spa at Old Edwards and the Old Edwards Club.

Responsibilities

  • Politely and efficiently arrange and plan our guests upcoming visits
  • Maintain consistent communication channels with Sales, Front Desk, Housekeeping and Marketing
  • Provide excellent, professional, and consistent customer service
  • Assist with group and wedding reservations, at the discretion of the Group Reservations Manager
  • Ensure responsible business decisions are being made in the department to remain financially responsible
  • Direct incoming phone calls to their proper destination
  • Answer inhouse phone calls and provide assistance to our guests
  • Book Dining, Spa and Golf Reservations
  • Assist with in-house special event reservations, at the discretion of the Assistant Reservation Manager
  • Arrange or suggest activities or dining in the Highlands Area
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the Reservations Manager, Assistant Reservations Manager or Group Reservations Manager, or Reservations Supervisor
  • Due to the nature of this position, confidentiality is required at all times
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the Reservations Manager

Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, Time Management, Organizational, Problem Solving, Patience and Multi-Tasking Skills Required. Exceptional Thoroughness and Attention to Detail Required
  • Experience and Knowledge of the Policies, Procedures and Processes in Place for the Reservations Department and Front Desk Desired
  • Command of English Language required and Second Language Helpful
  • Must be Customer Service and Problem Resolution Oriented
  • Requires Basic mathematical skills
  • Knowledge and use in Microsoft Office Software Required, SMS Host Helpful, Navis Helpful
  • Must have ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Must have ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to type, write, file, etc. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
