Job description
We are currently seeking a part-time registered nurse to work with our Adult Day Habilitation Program located in Commack, NY.
The nurse is responsible for the maintenance of the health recordkeeping system by ensuring there are accurate and up-to-date health files for all program participants. The incumbent will also administer prescribed medications and maintain the medical cabinet with all approved medications, supplies and equipment, ensure medical administration records are in accordance with applicable regulations and safe practices, and provide nursing assessment and care to participants.
Desired qualifications:
NYS registered nurse
Valid driver’s license
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Availability to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 2pm
Compensation: $50/hour
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Licensed registered nurse in New York State.
- Experience working in a school setting.
- Experience working with individuals with autism preferred.
- Availability to work Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 10am to 2pm.
