REGIONAL SALES MANAGER JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking an organized, energetic, results-driven Regional Sales Manager to expand our customer base and exceed sales targets for specific segments of our company. To be successful in this role, you should have previous construction industry and commercial sales experience. You should also be able to remotely supervise a team of manufacturing representatives, set profitable goals, and define market strategies and plans. Our ideal candidates combine energy, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a strategic and long-term vision mindset, and excel in maintaining client and vendor relationships.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Practice safe work habits in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure a robust and viable sales pipeline exists.
- Initiate and innovate sales strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, and grow market share.
- Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
- Be informed on relevant markets and coinciding target audiences.
- Exceed regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives.
- Report accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
- Present and educate end users, engineers, contractors, and representatives on product offerings and solutions.
- Possess detailed knowledge of product and solutions offerings.
- Strong ability to read and understand specifications and project drawings.
- Perform site surveys as needed.
- Negotiate sales contracts.
- Ensure customer issues are attended to appropriately and efficiently.
- Attend trade shows and conventions as needed.
- Utilize company’s CRM tool to capture data, opportunities and results.
- Adhere to all CCS company policies and budgets.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- At least 3-5+ years of construction industry experience required. Preference given to experience working through manufacturer’s representatives.
- Professional and polished individual who is organized, internally driven, a team player and detail oriented.
- Computer literate and proficient using CRM and Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time, sometimes on short notice.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturer’s representatives, distributors, contractors, engineering firms, and customers.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Experience in product training and presentations to customers.
- Proven experience consistently exceeding company sales quotas and objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
EDUCATION DESIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field
- Cooling Tower or other engineered mechanical equipment experience/knowledge
