This role is responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring all performance management measurements, sales programs and initiatives across all Business Units as well as the development of value-added supply chain solutions supporting all Key Accounts in the North Cluster This role is also responsible for assisting the Key Account team in new business acquisitions leveraging our value-added solutions portfolio to upsell our freight forwarding services across all vertical markets. This role will also assist with network modeling, supply chain design, process optimization across all aspects of the customers’ value chain and business process engineering for existing and future customers. Tasks & Responsibilities: • Develop, recommend, and communicate the annual strategic plan for VM Electronics • Manage overall account relationships for existing Electronics multinational customers to ensure excellent customer service during implementation, the transition to operations and ongoing maintenance of the account. • Responsible for Electronics account growth including strategy mapping, account penetration, customer relations management and business improvement initiatives • Partner with other sales professionals regionally and global to orchestrate an account sales strategy and achieve growth targets • Primary point of liaison with Electronics customers on all business-related matters pertaining to overall business process & implementation, including new potential business, commercial issues, scope of agreement & ongoing business improvements • Strategically partner with other departments (e.g. Product Development & Operations) to ensure consistent service and growth • Internal communication to senior management to ensure alignment of all business units to support sales and profit goals • Participate in regional strategic review of the business structure (resourcing, sales support, internal business processes, customer relationship management) with regional and cluster operations and staff leaders • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with the customer and regional and cluster operations and staff leaders • Establish business Key Performance Indicators and benchmarks. Use these indicators to drive internal process improvements • Achieve annual sales and profit goals for Electronics multinational and large regional customers • Responsible for customer profitability in conjunction with regional and cluster operations and staff leaders • Identification of target accounts and execution business development of targeted accounts. • Respond to complex and sensitive logistical issues and questions; create innovative and profitable solutions • Other duties and projects as assignedDetails/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills: This is a management position. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
