TNA is currently seeking a Recruiter for our Human Resources department. Our vision for this position is to ensure the team member selection system meets staffing requirements in relation to quality of new hires, timeliness of hires, and assimilation into the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Gain an efficient working knowledge of the electronic hiring management system.
- Ensure team member selection policies and procedures are followed.
- Have a clear understanding of manpower requirements, job openings, job requirements, etc.
- Spend time in the plant observing operations to gain understanding of job requirements.
- Schedule pre-employment assessments and contact candidates in a timely manner.
- Proctor pre-employment assessments.
- Review applications and resumes and select candidates to be forwarded through the selection process.
- Design and place employment ads in newspapers, on internet, on radio, and on social media sites.
- Participate in interviews and make candidate selection recommendations.
- Maintain applicant flow log.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of assessment instruments and results.
- Monitor electronic submission of candidate resumes and evaluate qualifications for job openings.
- Establish/maintain/update social media sites for recruiting purposes.
- Continuously improve staffing and recruitment activities, processes, and systems to drive improvement in efficiencies.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school; and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
