This is professional work in teaching recreation to individuals with intellectual developmentally disabilities (IDD).This employee is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining the individual's gross, fine and perceptual motor skills through structured class and leisure time activities and through assessments.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Physical Education, or in a specialty area such as art, dance, or music is required.
• A background working with individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Depending on the area skills such as WSI, Advanced Lifeguard, and Adapted Aquatics Instructor Certificate may be required.
