Records & Clerical Support Assistant
Position Overview: Records & Clerical Support Assistant is an entry-level role at Reaching All Minds Academy (RAMA). This is a full-time position, but can be filled by two part-time staff members. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, focused and possess a positive, upbeat attitude. The Records & Clerical Support position will report directly to RAMA’s Administrative Team.
Reaching All Minds Academy is a charter school in Durham County with the mission to prepare students
to become productive citizens with the skills needed to solve complex problems, think critically, exhibit
positive social competencies, and to function in a highly technological and global society.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a clerical or money-handling role.
- Self-motivated
- Task-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.
- Demonstrated technology proficiency, particularly in the Google Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Spanish language fluency is preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of documents, conversations and files.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of customer service in all situations
Core Responsibilities:
- Audit and file student records
- Communicate with families to request records and information
- Assist in answering parent, student, and staff questions through phone and in-person conversations
- Partner with Main Office team to assist with day-to-day clerical operations
- Other duties as assigned
