SUMMARY:
The Receptionist and Office Assistant is the first point of contact for the organization. This position primarily supports Human Resources, but responsibilities also include supporting departments company wide.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately. Includes visitor sign-in and badges.
- Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls.
- Receiving and sorting daily mail. Processing outbound mail.
- Responsible for safety and security of the lobby area by following procedures, rules, and regulations as well as monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
- Explains policies and obtains signatures for incoming guests as required (GMP’s, Confidentiality Statement, etc.).
- Maintain broker and staff birthday card lists, execute distribution of cards and mailing.
- Maintain broker, distributor and client Christmas gift and card list.
- Puts together new hire packets, employee files, and employee handbooks.
- Maintains employee List and Org Chart.
- Assist HR Manager with planning company events.
- Receives, organizes, and files all time sheets.
- Maintain customer service database.
- Maintain a safe and clean copy room.
- Responsible for maintaining, tracking, and ordering office supplies.
- Maintain office event calendar.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Requires a minimum of 3 years previous reception and administrative assistant experience.
RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports to the Human Resource Manager.
- Work closely with Del Sol management and functional groups including Operations, Finance, R&D, and Customer Service.
- This position requires the ability to remain professional and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The working environment is a clean, climate-controlled, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, but may require some outside maintenance as needed. Must be able to pass a drug screen as well as a criminal background check as required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and look at a computer screen for extended periods of time. This job requires the employee to be able to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Must be able to drive personal vehicle to run company errands.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
