Summer position only!

Relocation is to be done at your own expense. We do not offer travel expenses.

We are looking for 2 responsible Ranch Hands to join our team at our ranch in Big Timber, Montana. For the months of end of April- mid September. We have approximately 30 structures on the property, structures consist of several cabins, the landowners house and a lodge. You will work on a variety of tasks to such as, irrigation, building maintenance, fencing, trail clearing, Hiking, A schedule will be provided with daily tasks. You must be able to work unattended and manage time appropriately to ensure all of the tasks are completed. You will be working in a very remote location located in Crazy Mountains outside Big Timber MT, where there is little cell service.

Duties and work schedule.

• Sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Arrive punctually at work on all regularly scheduled workdays.
• Perform tasks in a safe manner professionally and cordially interact with co-workers, guests, invitees, and all individuals visiting the Employer’s ranches or properties.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or ID
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Directed on what needs to be completed on a day-to-day basis
• Assisting management with tasks when needed
• Must be able to work indoors/outdoors and work in all weather conditions.

Ranch Hand Work to include:

• Irrigation
• Daily chores (as directed)
• Property Maintenance
• Fencing
• Back country tasks (hiking, trail clearing)
• Vehicle/ATV/equipment general maintenance
• Work cooperatively with and assist other employees of Employer as needed.
• Assist with guests when needed, on horseback riding, and other recreational activities.

We offer housing for our summer employees during the months of end April-mid September. We also will grocery shop and purchase food from grocery list provided from each employee. Employees will use the staff kitchen for meal prep as the employee cabins DO NOT have kitchens. (WIFI in staff kitchen facility) There is not WIFI in staff cabins.

Pay: From $140.00 per day
